With the jail, city court, and county offices all within a few downtown blocks, families often do not know where to start. Our bail bond service helps you confirm the charge, the bail amount, and the right office for the bond. Then we prepare the paperwork so release can begin. This saves Youngstown families time and extra trips downtown.
Interstate 680, State Route 711, and U.S. Route 422 carry heavy traffic through the city. Events at the Covelli Centre, YSU games, and nights out downtown can all lead to late traffic stops. Our DUI bail bonds help drivers charged with OVI get released and understand their bond rules. We also explain what happens at the first hearing in Youngstown Municipal Court.
In a city where the median household income is about half the Ohio median, cash bail is out of reach for most families. When a judge sets a large bond, few households have savings to cover it. Our surety bail bonds let you pay a premium while a surety company backs the rest. This makes release possible for Youngstown families on limited incomes.
As the largest city in the valley, Youngstown sees criminal cases of every type and level. Cases range from misdemeanors in the city court to felonies in the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas. Our criminal bonds cover charges at each stage of the process. We make sure the bond is posted in the right court and matches the judge’s order.
Youngstown sits just a few miles from the Pennsylvania state line. A defendant who crosses into another state after release can be much harder to find. Our bail enforcement service helps locate defendants who miss court and return them the right way. This protects Youngstown cosigners who put their money or property on the line.

They are two separate offices. The Youngstown Municipal Clerk at 9 West Front Street handles city misdemeanor, traffic, and small civil cases. The Mahoning County Clerk of Courts at 120 Market Street handles records for felony cases in the Court of Common Pleas.
Youngstown State University has its own police department that can make arrests on and near campus. Charges from these arrests are usually filed in Youngstown Municipal Court. The bail process is the same as for any other city arrest.
Yes. If a person misses a payment deadline or a court date, the court may issue a warrant. The person can be arrested and held until they see a judge or post a bond. Contacting the court early is often the best way to avoid an arrest.
Some crimes break federal law, such as large drug trafficking cases or certain gun charges. Federal agencies like the DEA, ATF, or FBI may also lead the investigation. When this happens, the case is filed in the federal courthouse instead of a state court.
